Position SummaryA leading defense contractor is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions supporting mission-critical programs. You will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements, design, verification & validation (V&V), and sustainment.
Responsibilities - Develop software solutions using documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and structured code
- Conduct systems analysis to recommend improvements in processes and procedures
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices for cloud and non-cloud applications
- Manage software tools, repositories, and licensing
- Collaborate with government and industry partners to deliver mission-critical capabilities
Qualifications - U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience (3+ in DoD programs) or 15+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C++, Java, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SDLC/V&V practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
