Job DescriptionYou will be the Systems Engineer Associate Manager for the F-16 & T/FA-50 System Integration and Test Team which is responsible for performing system level testing for advanced avionics on the F-16 and T/FA-50 platforms.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of systems test engineers performing avionics system integration and test activities on a variety of F-16 and T/FA-50 platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising team personnel including hiring, training, performance assessments, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Leading system level test engineering team with responsibility for team performance and continuous process improvement.
- Team technical leadership including defining new processes, developing long-range roadmaps, and executing organizational vision.
- Performing avionics systems integration and test activities including conducting avionics system integration testing in a lab or flight test environment, developing test procedures, and completing final technical reviews.
- Supporting Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tasks as a Control Account Manager (CAM) and/or Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS) manager.

Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Some shift work (2nd / 3rd) may be required to support program and lab schedules. Some travel is expected as need up to 20%.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar STEM discipline
• Strong technical knowledge & skills in avionics system testing and troubleshooting.
• Thorough knowledge of Avionics Architectures, and proficiency with System Integration & Test processes.
• Excellent technical and communications skills (verbal & written).
Desired skills• Leadership skills and interpersonal skills for mentoring and guiding a team of engineers.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment including coordination with external teams/organizations.
• System level testing experience in 4th or 5th gen fighter aircraft.
• Fighter aircraft avionics experience including but not limited to A-G weapons, UAI, A-A weapons, sensors/pods, communication systems, navigation system, etc.
• Proficient understanding of the systems engineering process.
• Experience defining/implementing team/organizational processes, roadmaps, and vision.
• Scaled Agile process understanding and execution.
• Desire/ability to work in a laboratory environment.
• Experience in reviewing electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Physically able to access aircraft cockpit test fixtures and conduct lab testing for typical 6-hour test shifts.
• Must be willing and able to conform with flight line dress code and FOD requirements.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite applications.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $125,600 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
