Summary of PositionThe Systems Engineer is responsible for the coordination of design requirements between corresponding systems of machine tools, jigs, fixtures and automated equipment used in aerospace industries.

- Write design requirements for assembly line applications of static/dynamic tools and machines.
- Develop system models for tooling and equipment.
- Modify facility integration layouts using CAD software.
- Develop test plans and acceptance criteria for tools or systems of tools.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers as well as tooling and equipment designers.
- Complete models, layouts, and test plans within established budgets and schedules.
- Present system models to internal and external customers.
Required Skills, Education & Experience- BS Mechanical Engineering or similar field; equivalent relevant experience also acceptable.
- 10+ years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing practices: fabrication, machining, and assembly.
- Broad knowledge of materials and processing, both metallic and composite.
- Must possess a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
- This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with CATIA V5 and/or NX.
- Experience managing data in a PLM system.
- Clear written and oral communication of ideas, designs, and status.
- Drive to succeed with each challenge presented.
- Ability to work individually or in a fast-paced team environment.
- Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
