Systems Engineer 3
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with polygraph
Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role
Navius Technologies is seeking a highly capable Systems Engineer 3 to support mission-critical government programs throughout the full systems development lifecycle. This position applies advanced systems engineering principles in areas ranging from concept development through system retirement. You'll interface directly with stakeholders to manage technical issues, drive performance and quality, and ensure system integrity across a wide range of enterprise and technical processes.
This role is ideal for an experienced systems engineer who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced, and security-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering practices across all life cycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement
  • Provide detailed technical input on architectural decisions, risk trade-offs, and engineering assessments
  • Serve as a key liaison between engineering teams and government leadership, offering insight on system performance, integration, and lifecycle planning
  • Analyze, define, and validate stakeholder requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and completeness of deliverables aligned with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas
  • Lead or contribute to technical process areas including implementation, verification, transition, operation, and maintenance
  • Maintain consistent communication with program personnel, government overseers, and senior leadership
