Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); and 2 - 5 years of sensor systems or Space integration and test experience.
  • Assembly Testing, Integration Testing, MATLAB.
  • MATLAB for executing and editing/improving existing code for test data analysis and trending.
  • Willingness to work dedicated 3rd shift (9 PM - 5 AM, Sunday night - Friday morning) for 1 year.
  • NO CLEARANCE REQUIRED to start, but must be eligible for TS/SCI.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Seeking an Engineer Systems Test 2 to support on-site test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space RADAR Payload program.

Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space. Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR; programming and scripting skills; and, working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) is desired.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience with RADAR and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) Antenna integration and test.
  • Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment.
  • Python and Tcl for executing and editing/improving existing scripts.
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
  • Active TS and/or SCI clearance.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

Full-Time 5/40 workweek. 3rd shift, 9 PM - 5 AM, Sunday night - Friday morning.
