Overview: We are looking for a Systems/DevOps Engineer to work on our Cloud Automation Advancements Team. Work hand-in-hand with technical and program management leadership to implement the next generation desktop and web based production and dissemination system.
Responsibilities:- This position will require experience standing up and maintaining Windows Servers in a cloud environments, and the deployment and maintenance of custom code, COTS, and GOTS to those environments.
- Lead systems administration and Devops activities that support building and delivering new and innovative systems to implement analytics, exploitation, production and dissemination using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies.
Qualifications:- Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire
- DoD 8570 compliance
- Experience with cloud/Amazon Web services (AWS)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- System (hardware, software and networking) Design and Architecture.
- Understanding of custom code development/reviews
- Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scripting
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift
- Experience developing webapps with Python
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies
- Experience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)
- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)
- Experience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containers
- Experience writing, maintaining, and describing architecture diagrams
- Team Collaboration tools and administration (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
