As the Systems Developer you will be a member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of moderately complex and diverse team initiatives with the support of your team members.
Technologies you have experience with:- Intermediate experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath.
- Intermediate experience with UiPath Studio, REFramework, workflow development standards, and exception handling best practices.
- Working knowledge of UiPath Orchestrator, including job scheduling, monitoring, asset management, queue management, and deployment activities.
- Experience automating processes involving web applications, desktop applications, Microsoft Office products, email platforms, and file-based workflows.
- Working knowledge of API integration, data extraction, and system-to-system automation techniques.
- Working knowledge of source control and DevOps practices using tools such as Bitbucket, Git, and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Experience performing unit testing, supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolving defects through root cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of application lifecycle management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience supporting production automations, including monitoring, incident investigation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement activities.
- Exposure to Intelligent Automation capabilities such as OCR, Document Understanding, AI/ML integrations, and process mining is considered an asset.
How you will create impact: - Translating requirements into a cohesive working plan in accordance with guidelines and standards.
- Writing code to implement functionalities and features of small to medium complexity.
- Creating an implementation and back-out plan for a single system.
- Performing unit testing for developed code, supporting system and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects by troubleshooting root causes.
To join our team: - You have 3 years of experience in Information Technology, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Software Development, or a related field.
- You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- You have experience developing and supporting automation solutions using UiPath or similar RPA platforms, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- UiPath certifications and experience within the insurance or financial services industry are considered assets.

Salary informationExpected salary range $60,574 to $100,956
Salary placementThe salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
