Full Job Description
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Provide requirement guidance to the Engineering department as well as supporting the Application Engineering departments to ensure compliance with current and future customer requirements in support of engineering goal and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for requirement management and compliance of a given program.
  • Provides input to the other engineering departments to include but notwithstanding, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CAD, Configuration Management, New Product Development, Integrated Logistics Support departments, and Applications Engineering.
  • Provides support to meet Engineering schedules and budgets in coordination with Program Managers.
  • Contributes to providing direction and guidance of Engineering personnel to ensure the ability of the department to meet requirements of current and future program requirements.
  • Provides support to ensure quality, productivity, and innovation in new product design.
  • Maintains on-going communication with customers and team leads to accomplish program goals through systems engineering.
  • Provides engineering estimates and applications engineering support for quotes as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering from accredited university.
  • At least 2+ years of related experience in Engineering, Program Management, Technical Sales and Engineering Management.
  • Advance and Professional degrees and certification preferred.
  • AutoCAD, 3D modeling and electrical wiring software experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office basic product suite.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Office environment.
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Yes, as required

10% domestic travel.
