Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Database Administrator who will design, implement, maintain, monitor, and optimize the organization's server and virtual infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. This role requires a versatile technical professional capable of managing core systems while providing critical support for enterprise database environments and ERP infrastructure. You will ensure the ongoing health, performance, and reliability of our Windows, Linux, and multi-platform database systems to support our operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Systems Administration: Administer, configure, and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments; manage Active Directory (GPO, DNS, and DHCP).
  • Database Administration (DBA): Monitor and maintain the health of enterprise-level databases; perform routine maintenance, performance tuning, and ensure high availability and data integrity.
  • ERP Infrastructure Support: Provide backend infrastructure support for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ensuring system uptime, efficient processing, and seamless integration with server environments.
  • Virtualization & Cloud: Maintain and monitor virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and VMware ESXi); support cloud infrastructure operations across major public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Maintenance & Security: Perform server patching, scheduled system updates, and software rollouts; manage backup and recovery solutions ensuring compliance with internal SLAs.
  • Collaboration: Partner on projects involving systems provisioning, infrastructure upgrades, and large-scale application deployments.
  • Documentation & Support: Document all system and database configurations, changes, and SOPs; provide escalation support for complex issues.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator in a complex, hybrid enterprise environment
  • Proven experience in Database Administration, including maintenance, backup, and performance optimization of enterprise relational database
  • Hands-on experience supporting the infrastructure and hosting environments for Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP systems.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Deep knowledge of Database Administration and Linux distributions
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure ( OCI , Azure , GCP )
  • Expertise in system performance tuning and disaster recovery operations
  • Experience with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash); Active Directory, DNS
  • trong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to provide after-hours support for critical system maintenance as required.
