Full Job Description

As a Systems Analyst III, you will formulate and define system scope and objectives of a high technical level based on user needs. This includes devising and modifying procedures and preparing detailed specifications to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Software Support:
    • Assist internal customers in trouble shooting system issues or questions.
    • Understand in-depth environment specific functionality available related to technical systems they work with.
  • Documentation/Standards/Quality/Leadership:
    • Act as a primary resource for large and complex solution design; Can dig into and troubleshoot complex problems, investigate and assist with the implementation of new technologies.
    • Document business processes and create and comprehend complex technical specifications.
    • Meet with users, project leaders, and management to discuss and plan guidelines and criteria for documentation of a system, program, project plan, and timelines.
    • Create effective documents that are clear, succinct, accurate, and appropriately detailed.
    • Create solution documents and describe / sell chosen solution.
    • Train end users on processes and transactions.
    • Develop training documentation and content for software platforms.
  • Application Installation/Troubleshooting/Testing:
    • Create and maintain application installation and troubleshooting guides for high level programs.
    • Identify solution to a problem and test solution against all aspects of problem as stated.
    • Develop detailed test plan and perform testing on a large variety of tasks in multiple areas.
    • Understand the root-cause of complex problems, research, and propose possible solutions both in scope of Greenheck systems and other available technology.
  • Specs/Requirements/Scope:
    • Formulate and define system scope based on user needs and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex to moderately complex information systems.
    • Create moderately complex, to complex technical design specifications from functional requirements including: system use case diagrams, data flow diagrams, system design models, pseudo code, etc.
    • Determine best application platform for a requested solution.
  • Team/Task Management/Methodologies:
    • Manage tasks assigned and provide estimated time of completion.
    • Work independently on a variety of tasks in multiple areas within the same sprint.
    • Manage and provide functional guidance on medium to large-sized projects within their area of expertise.
    • Establish project priorities and deadlines.
    • Offer constructive feedback and ideas for improvements in processes, systems, and areas of a technical nature.
    • May provide mentoring for other employees.
    • Meet with users, project leaders and management to discuss and plan guidelines and criteria for documentation of a system, program, project plan, and timelines.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience with an associate's degree or 4-6 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degreepreferred.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts.
  • Understand in-depth environment specific functionality available related to technical systems they work within.
  • Understand functional business requirements and deliverables for assigned work.
  • Ability to break down work into simple tasks and think through technical implementation.
  • Ability to debug or walk through complex program or process related issues.
  • Can quickly pick up new functionality on systems; can self-teach or find training to develop new skills.
  • Must be the go-to resource for large and complex solution designs; ability to dig into and troubleshoot complex problems, investigate and assist with the implementation of new technologies.
  • Ability to document business processes and create and comprehend complex technical specifications.
  • Understand the steps needed for the manufacturing process to go through the ERP system.
  • Understand all SAP terminology.
  • Understand the full level processes and configuration of SAP applications supported.
  • Ability to read and debug moderately complex ABAP code.

The starting base pay range for this position is $105,630-$130,485 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
