Systems Analyst, Cybersecurity

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location:Hybrid - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Kohler Co. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented System Analyst - Cybersecurity to support security efforts across three key domains: Internet of Things (IoT), Operational Technology (OT), and Enterprise API Security.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation and a passion for cybersecurity who thrives in a collaborative environment. As part of our Cybersecurity Architecture team, you will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of security strategies that safeguard enterprise systems, support the secure adoption of IoT and OT technologies, and strengthen API security posture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Integration & Collaboration:
  • Contribute to the implementation of cybersecurity controls across enterprise systems and platforms. Work with internal teams to align security practices with business and technical requirements.

IoT & OT Security Support:
  • Assist in applying cybersecurity principles to connected devices and industrial systems. Help evaluate risks and support the adoption of secure configurations and communication protocols.

API Security & Inventory Oversight:
  • Support efforts to improve visibility and security of enterprise APIs. Assist in identifying and evaluating API endpoints, contributing to risk assessments and the implementation of appropriate security measures. Work collaboratively with development and integration teams to promote secure API practices across the organization.

Risk Assessment & Control Implementation:
  • Participate in risk assessments and help identify areas for improvement. Support the application of industry-standard frameworks such as the CIS Controls to enhance the organization's security posture.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand security needs and communicate technical information in a clear, accessible manner.

Process Improvement & Team Engagement:
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to streamline security processes and enhance collaboration across teams. Support initiatives related to automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.


Skills/Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity roles. Familiarity with IoT/OT connected products environments and experience working with cross-functional teams is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):
  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CEH, or other relevant credentials.

Core Competencies:
  • Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles across enterprise and embedded technology domains
  • Familiarity with security risks, controls, and architectures specific to Operational Technology (OT) and connected product (IoT) environments
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions and support risk-informed decision-making
  • Strong collaboration skills; comfortable partnering with engineering, product, and operational teams
  • Clear and adaptable communicator, capable of translating complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning in an evolving cybersecurity landscape

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
