Position Summary

The Systems Analyst supports, enhances, and optimizes JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications across Inventory, Manufacturing, and Equipment business processes. This role partners business stakeholders and technical teams to understand operational needs, translate requirements into effective system solutions, troubleshoot issues, support testing and implementation, and promote reliable, scalable processes. Successful candidate combines functional ERP knowledge with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a functional subject-matter resource for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory, Manufacturing, and Equipment applications.
  • Partner with business users to analyze processes, identify requirements, document gaps, and recommend practical system solutions.
  • Configure and support application functionality, including item and branch/plant data, inventory transactions, manufacturing work orders and planning processes, equipment records, and preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
  • Investigate and resolve application incidents, data issues, process failures, and user questions; identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with developers, integration specialists, infrastructure teams, and external vendors on enhancements and interfaces.
  • Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; document results and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Support application releases, patches, upgrades, conversions, and deployments in accordance with change management and security standards.
  • Monitor data quality and process controls, and help ensure accurate inventory, production, equipment, maintenance, and related financial transactions.
  • Create and maintain process flows, functional documentation, support procedures, training materials, and knowledge articles.
  • Train and support end users, communicate system changes clearly, and promote consistent use of standard business processes.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests, prioritize work with stakeholders, and balance business value, risk, supportability, and technical constraints.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve system performance, strengthen controls, and increase adoption of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Three to five years of experience as a systems analyst, business systems analyst, functional analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
• Hands-on functional experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, preferably in Inventory, Manufacturing, and Equipment or Capital Asset Management.
• Understanding of inventory control, manufacturing operations, work-order processing, planning, equipment maintenance, and related data and financial integration points.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, preparing functional specifications, and supporting system enhancements.
• Experience with software testing, issue resolution, change management, and end-user support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business users and business needs to technical teams.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments while working independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator, UX One, reports, batch applications, interfaces, or related tools.
• Experience supporting application upgrades, integrations, data conversions, or multi-site implementations.
• Knowledge of ERP security, internal controls, and data-governance practices.
