The Systems Analysis Advisor leads the design, implementation, and support of Epic applications and healthcare technology solutions. This role works closely with business, clinical, operational, and technical teams to improve healthcare processes, data exchange, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has experience with Epic Payer Platform, EpicCare Ambulatory, Care Everywhere, healthcare interoperability, reporting, and analytics. This position serves as a subject matter expert, helping to deliver complex technology solutions while mentoring team members and supporting strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Epic applications, including Epic Payer Platform, EpicCare Ambulatory, and Care Everywhere.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions that support operational and clinical goals.
- Design, build, test, and deploy system changes while ensuring quality and stability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support healthcare interoperability solutions, including Clinical Data Exchange (CDE), HL7 interfaces, ADT notifications, and payer-provider integrations.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve patient enrollment, authorization, clinical data exchange, and workflow efficiency.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data analytics solutions using Epic Reporting Workbench and Clarity.
- Analyze healthcare and operational data to support population health programs, quality initiatives, and business decision-making.
- Troubleshoot system, reporting, and integration issues and lead efforts to resolve complex problems.
- Provide leadership during go-live events, system upgrades, and optimization projects.
- Mentor team members and serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting healthcare information systems or Epic applications.
- Experience leading complex implementation, enhancement, or optimization projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, payer-provider workflows, and healthcare technology solutions.
- Experience with Epic Reporting Workbench, Clarity Reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Epic Payer Platform Certification.
- EpicCare Ambulatory Certification.
- Care Everywhere Certification.
- Prior Authorization Certification.
- Experience with Clinical Data Exchange, HL7 interfaces, ADT notifications, and healthcare interoperability.
- Experience supporting payer organizations, population health programs, and revenue cycle initiatives.
- Experience with SQL, MySQL, reporting, and healthcare analytics.
- Master's degree in a related field.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 106,100 - 176,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
