Job Description:
As a Systems Administrator at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals deliveringexpertisein network and systems administration, cybersecurity, and technical support across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled, solutions-oriented professional with experience inmaintaining, securing, andoptimizingcomplex IT environments to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.
Administer and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, network accounts, and security tools.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security measures such as firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
Design,update, andmanage web pages and local system documentation.
Monitor system configuration, performance, and security, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Train staff on relevant software and provide technicalassistanceto users.
Assistwith the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with CyberWorkForce(CWF) directives andmaintainrequired certifications as applicable.
Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.(Advanced degree preferred)
3 610+ years of professional experience in systems administration.
TS/SCI is required
Demonstrated leadership in managing large, multi-year programs or projects.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
