Full Job Description
Raye IT is looking for an adaptable and flexible Systems Administrator to support a federal client within the Washington, D.C. area. The Systems Administrator is responsible supporting systems, users and applications. It is a technical position. In addition, will be responsible for handling end user support issues and administration of converged hardware and VMWare.

Raye IT Consulting is looking to add an experienced Systems Administrator to their team. This role will be supporting systems, network infrastructure and data center environments. This critical role must be available to travel onsite to Silver Spring, MD twice a week to perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and deploying patches
  • Create, upgrade, and manage server
  • Manage group policy
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Create SOP
  • Manage Domain Controllers
  • Manage certificates for Domain Controllers and webservers
  • Account management
  • Monitor server status
  • VPN
  • Vulnerability Scanning
  • Provide Tier 2 & 3/other support and investigate and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop systems engineering planning documents. Perform system engineering and integration (SE&I) for OMAO information management systems and processes.
  • Develop, manage, and/or adhere to systems engineering and software development processes to ensure end-to-end integration and improve service delivery.
  • Identify and with government approval, implement opportunities to streamline and enhance software administration, site development processes and procedures, and improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of system engineering experience

Preferred: Azure administration Certification.

Security Clearance Requirement: Public Trust.

Schedule:Monday - Friday (Hybrid)
