The ideal candidate has a strong "ownership mentality," is highly proactive, and possesses a deep, proven background in multitier support, bare-metal hardware configuration, and the strict security hardening protocols required to achieve and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier IT support across complex classified environments and secure air-gapped networks
  • Execute rigid security configuration and system hardening utilizing DISA STIGs, SCAP tools, and other federal cybersecurity best practices to ensure strict compliance with government directives
  • Configure, optimize, and maintain critical enterprise services including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, Identity Management/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, repository servers, and patch deployment systems
  • Administer virtualized environments using Hyer-V and VMware. Develop and execute systematic backup scripts and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical intelligence data
  • Take hands-on ownership of physical rack components, low-voltage cabling, server hard-ware configurations, desktops, laptops, and secure mobile/tablet devices, including com-plete system startups and shutdowns
  • Author rigorous, instructional documentation for system baselines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Serve as the primary COMSEC custodian, maintaining 100% accurate accountability, strict inventory control, and secure storage for all physical and electronic cryptographic materials, key tapes, and controlled cryptographic items (CCIs)
  • Conduct required semi-annual, annual, and special-occasion inventories; strictly adhere to and enforce National Security Agency (NSA) directives, CNSSI manuals, and customer-driver COMSEC required security procedures
  • Ability to support after-hours alarm/intrusion response
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience as System Administrator (SA) providing comprehensive system support
  • Hands-on experience applying DISA STIGs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and remediating compliance findings on classified networks
  • Strong background troubleshooting core infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policies, and network storage solutions) in an isolated, non-internet connected environment
  • Experience in configuring new hardware systems and employing them into active environments for operational readiness
  • Must hold an active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and FS Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III baseline certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
  • Completion of COMSEC Custodian course is preferred, or obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to support after-hours alarm/intrusion response

Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical plan options
  • HSA/FSA accounts
  • Dental and vision coverage
  • 6% employer 401(k) match
  • Fully paid parental leave for all new parents
  • Generous PTO
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Long-term and Short-term disability coverage
  • AD&D Coverage
  • Pet Insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Subsided gym membership / plans through Wellhub
