Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring a Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team.Support the systems behind the mission.
At PPCW, technology plays a critical role in delivering healthcare, protecting patient information, supporting staff across multiple locations, and ensuring operational continuity. As a Systems Administrator, you'll help maintain and improve the infrastructure that keeps our organization running securely, reliably, and efficiently.
You'll join a collaborative IT team supporting cloud services, cybersecurity initiatives, enterprise applications, networking, and infrastructure systems across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
About the RoleThe Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of PPCW's enterprise technology environment.
This role serves as a key technical resource supporting cloud services, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, virtualization, cybersecurity operations, backups, disaster recovery, and enterprise systems. You'll provide advanced technical support, serve as an escalation point for complex issues, and contribute to projects that strengthen infrastructure reliability, security, and performance.

What You'll DoIn this role, you'll help ensure technology systems remain secure, available, and effective for staff across the organization.
In a typical week, you might:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and related infrastructure systems
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and enterprise applications
- Support network infrastructure including firewalls, wireless networking, VPNs, switching, and internet services
- Assist with cybersecurity operations, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and security monitoring
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
- Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures
- Support infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, hardware refreshes, and enterprise technology projects
- Collaborate with IT teammates to improve system reliability, security, and user experience
You'll play an important role in supporting the technology systems that enable healthcare delivery and organizational operations throughout PPCW.
Schedule & LocationThis is a
full-time position (37.5 hours/week).
Location: Flanagan Regional Service Center (FRSC), Portland, Oregon
Hybrid Schedule:- On-site at least two days per week (Tuesday plus one additional day determined by department needs)
- Remaining work may be performed remotely
- Remote work must be performed within Oregon or Washington
Work Hours:- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
This position participates in a shared after-hours support rotation and may occasionally work evenings or weekends to support maintenance activities, operational needs, or technology projects.

Required- Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or enterprise IT operations
- Experience supporting one or more of the following technologies:
- Microsoft 365
- Azure
- Active Directory
- Windows Server
- Okta
- SharePoint
- VMware or similar virtualization platforms
- Experience supporting networking technologies including firewalls, VPNs, wireless networking, and switching
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and operational security tools
- Experience supporting backup and disaster recovery systems
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to Have- Experience supporting Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Epic
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-site environments
- Experience with cloud migrations or enterprise infrastructure projects
- Experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives or compliance efforts
Pay & Growth$70,668 - $102,941 annually. Pay is based on experience and internal equity.
