About You

The Systems Administrator III - Infrastructure Engineer provides advanced network engineering expertise with a focus on network segmentation, enterprise connectivity, and secure infrastructure design. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of TASB's network environments, including Juniper switching and firewall platforms, Cisco and Meraki wireless networks, and associated infrastructure systems.

A Typical Day

  • Design, implement, and maintain network segmentation strategies to improve security and performance.
  • Administer and support Juniper network infrastructure, including switches and firewalls.
  • Configure and maintain routing, switching, and firewall policies across the enterprise environment.
  • Support and optimize Cisco and Meraki wireless networks, including access points, controllers, and cloud-managed environments.
  • Monitor network performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or reliability issues.
  • Perform advanced network administration tasks including configuration changes, firmware upgrades, patching, BGP, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain network documentation, support incidents across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments, and participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as needed.

  • Strengthen TASB's infrastructure by enforcing network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, and traffic inspection.
  • Improve reliability and visibility by implementing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions.
  • Support business continuity by assisting with disaster recovery and continuity planning related to network services.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure Architect, IT teams, and vendors to design and deliver secure, scalable network solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending architecture, tooling, and process enhancements that improve performance, reliability, and security.


Skills For Success

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, or 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in network engineering or infrastructure support.
  • Experience in enterprise network environments supporting 500+ endpoints.
  • Experience with wireless network management, including Cisco and Meraki environments.
  • Experience with firewall administration and network segmentation implementation.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Juniper certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, or higher are preferred.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong experience with Juniper networking platforms, including switches and firewalls.
  • Strong experience with Cisco and/or Meraki wireless networking solutions.
  • Deep understanding of network segmentation, VLANs, routing, BGP, and firewall policies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise network design, monitoring, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Familiarity with network security principles and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and provide guidance to junior staff.
