Full Job Description

Basic Requirements:
  • Security+ Cert
  • 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
    • 5 additional years of experience as a System Administrator may be substituted for a degree

Job Description:
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/network devices.
  • Manages IT system infrastructure, configuration, operation, and any processes related to the IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, and diagnosis.
  • Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Required Experience:
  • Windows 11: ability to troubleshoot various hardware issues
  • Linux: experience with Ubuntu and Fedora
  • Networking: experience with Juniper
  • Windows Server: manage roles including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory including Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, and Hyper-V
  • Experience with Powershell scripting

Desired Experience:
  • Experience with Cisco and Dell networking systems
  • Ability to upgrade code on Cisco and Juniper switches
  • Strong Windows and Linux troubleshooting skills with hardware and software issues
  • HP Device Manager (understanding of RMM tools would be sufficient)
  • Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, Syslog-ng
