Why This Role Is Critical

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to lead the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our isolated and secure environments. This individual will serve as the technical lead for server infrastructure while partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, deliver projects, and ensure the stability, security, and availability of critical systems.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated infrastructure professional with broad systems administration experience across Windows and Linux platforms, virtualization technologies, Active Directory, and enterprise infrastructure. This role requires someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while building strong relationships with customers and project teams.

What You'll Do Day-To-Day

  • Ensures continuous server performance and reliability through identification, acquisition, installation and maintenance of integrated system components.
  • Troubleshoots hardware and software issues detected by monitoring or user reports.
  • Advises and consults with IS management and lines of business regarding new server technologies consistent with corporate objectives; provides input on system capabilities and recommends developments and upgrades of server-based systems and processes.
  • Provides primary point of contact as systems Business Partner for internal customers.
  • Provides routine and ad hoc metrics, reports, and communications on system performance and operation issues.
  • Serves on related projects; provides project leadership, as needed.
  • May assist less experienced staff on system issues.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience or equivalent Systems Administration work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware, software, networking, storage systems and server monitoring.
  • Foundational and hands-on experience with one or more server environments and architecture.
  • May have knowledge in ITIL processes.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.


Total Rewards Package

  • Salary:$85,000-$116,000and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
