We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator Level III to support mission-critical enterprise infrastructure in a secure Department of Defense/Intelligence Community environment. The successful candidate will provide advanced systems administration, network infrastructure support, virtualization, automation, cybersecurity compliance, and enterprise systems maintenance while ensuring high availability, security, and operational readiness.
This position requires an experienced systems administrator capable of working independently, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, implementing secure enterprise solutions, and supporting highly classified operational environments.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with a current Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
10+ years of progressive Systems Administration experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in secure environments
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent)
Technical Requirements
Candidates should possess strong experience in several of the following areas:
Administration and support of Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, and Palo Alto firewalls, including security policy management, troubleshooting, and enterprise firewall administration.
Configuration, implementation, and maintenance of IPSEC VPNs, secure VPN tunneling (including ASA-to-ASA connectivity), and secure enterprise networking.
Administration of VMware or comparable virtualization platforms, including virtual machine provisioning, maintenance, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
Experience developing automation solutions using Python and/or Bash, with hands-on implementation of Ansible and Ansible Playbooks for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational efficiency.
Strong knowledge of enterprise server administration across Windows and Linux platforms, system hardening, patch management, and infrastructure support.
Experience performing IAVA patching, vulnerability remediation, STIG implementation, and maintaining compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Working knowledge of Secure The Enterprise (STE) and Secure The Network (STN) processes and security initiatives.
Experience utilizing Nessus for vulnerability scanning, analysis, remediation, and continuous security monitoring.
Hands-on experience with hardware installation, rack and stack, structured cabling, equipment deployment, and maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation and network diagrams.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems, networks, and security issues while supporting highly available enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
Containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management best practices
Enterprise monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, Elastic, SolarWinds, etc.)
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, LDAP, and certificate management
Disaster recovery, backup technologies, and high-availability architectures
Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE), VMware (VCP), Red Hat (RHCSA), or equivalent technical certifications

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$120,800 - $265,800
