JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. This role will ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and related infrastructure to support organizational operations effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications.
• Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance and upgrades to ensure system reliability and availability.
• Conduct regular backups and implement data recovery plans to safeguard against data loss or system failures.
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network systems for end-users.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and tools to improve system efficiency and performance.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels across various systems and applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications a plus.
Experience:

o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration roles, preferably in a complex IT environment.

COMPETENCIES
