Summary

The Office of Financial Management (OFM) is seeking a Financial Management Specialist (Systems Access Control Specialist). As a Systems Access Control Specialist, you will serve as the focal point for SEC's financial system access matters by providing direction, planning, and oversight for financial policy and procedures, financial reporting, accounting policy and systems, internal controls management, and auditing. This position is in SEC's OFM, Systems and Data Management Branch.

Duties

In this role as a Systems Access Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Administering and conducting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of user access requests and answers helpdesk emails in a timely manner for Delphi and E2.
• Identifying a need; gathering, organizing, and maintaining information; determining its importance and accuracy, and communicating it by a variety of methods.
• Ensuring financial systems and reports accurately to portray the financial posture for assigned programs.
• Providing support and assistance by logging helpdesk tickets with ESC, SEC's shared service provider for troubleshooting issues identified by users in Delphi(Oracle), EFMS interface, DPS(Momentum) interface and E2 (CWSato) system.
• Administering and conducting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of user access modification requests and answering helpdesk emails in a timely manner for Delphi and E2.
• Providing support and assistance in providing artifacts requested by various auditors.

• PROBATIONARY PERIOD: This appointment may require completion of a one-year probationary period.
• The selectee is required to report to the duty station(s) listed.

Qualifications

Time-in-grade for this announcement is one year at the GS/SK-11 level.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

SK-12: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-11 level. Specialized experience includes:

1) Providing assistance in planning or maintaining financial management systems/programs; AND

2) Applying financial management theories, concepts, and practices to ensure financial management systems produce results; AND

3) Providing support and assistance in the development of formal reports.

SEC COMPENSATION PROGRAM: Total salary (base pay + locality) is dependent upon duty location. The overall salary range listed above is provided for informational purposes; a selectee's initial pay will be established below the maximum rate of the range.
