Job Summary

As the Systems Support and Business Improvement Manager, you will direct work in support of the Individual Annuities division's strategic goals and technology roadmap. Primary focus areas include the business-technology strategy, strategic project delivery, and support of annuities business systems.

* This position requires travel on a quarterly basis to attend onsite leadership meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position is a people leader role requiring prior experience managing system and quality analysts, project managers, and product owners.
  • Responsible for facilitating a formal intake, prioritization, and delivery framework. Leads the team responsible for execution of all Individual Annuity (IA) improvement projects and the technology roadmap.
  • Leads, in collaboration with IA leaders and teams, the delivery of complex product, project and M&A initiatives.
  • Manages the technology and business operations teams' adherence to IT and business operations controls.


Skills and Background You'll Need

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Services or related field.

Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated people leadership background managing a team of technical employees.
  • 5+ years progressively responsible experience in product management, agile delivery, quality control, and systems support.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience proactively engaging with stakeholders, communicating project updates, and managing expectations across multiple teams.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:
$97,750.00 - $186,000.00
