Job Description

ECS is seeking a System Release Management Specialist - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement rollback strategies and post-release performance monitoring protocols.
  • Align release schedules with change management and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Validate configurations and ensure compliance with service-level objectives.
  • Document and test releases thoroughly before transitioning to operational environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and mission continuity.
  • Monitor and report on release performance, addressing issues proactively.


Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CND, GFACT, GSEC, Security+
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in enterprise release management within DoD or Federal environments.
  • Proven ability to align release cycles with governance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Experience in ensuring releases are documented, tested, and transitioned smoothly.
  • Strong understanding of operational readiness standards and mission-critical service continuity.
