What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an System Integration/Test Engineer Stf to join our Production Operations team in Littleton, CO!

In this exciting role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Interpret specification and requirements documents to write test procedures for the functional and environmental testing of Engineering, Flight, and Qualification Hardware.
• Obtain Certified Test Conductor (CTC) training to become certified to perform functional and environmental tests as the Person In Charge (PIC).
• Support Subsystem Level test through environmental testing in vibration, thermal, and thermal vacuum.
• Design, implement, and maintain test equipment and test software used in mechanical and environmental testing.
• Collaborate with engineering to review and validate test data, identifying and confirming anomalies or passing data.

Basic Qualifications
• Previous experience operating or supporting mechanical and/or environmental testing, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must be able to interpret drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and standards.
• Work or classroom knowledge and experience with environmental systems and operation.
• Familiarity with Automation Frameworks.
• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion and maintenance of all required internal certifications for this role.

Desired skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Mechanical Eng, and Aerospace Eng preferred), or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Familiarity with multiple testing environments including thermal, thermal vacuum, and vibration.
• Experience with detailed test troubleshooting; including failure analysis techniques, documentation, and communication of test failures to stakeholders.
• Previous experience working on system, subsystem, or component level spacecraft or missile system test campaigns.
• Experience in environmental GPE software, design, and operation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Capable of Multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Work or classroom knowledge and experience with mechanical design, operation, and/or testing.
• Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $125,600 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
