Standard Job Description :
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Typical Minimums :

As a Systems Integration Systems & Engineering Product Owner, you will:
• Perform cross-program coordination during development of intersegment and subsystem level requirement/verification baselines
• Perform system analysis and interface definition for your assigned subsystem
• Define and communicate a clear product vision; maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with
business goals and market needs.
• Write, refine, and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks; ensure backlog items are ready for sprint planning.
• Collaborate with subsystem design engineering teams to drive design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
• Lead trade studies for enhanced subsystem design and capabilities
• Collaborate with the SEIT organization to create end-to-end integrated solutions
• Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle
• Guide systems integration efforts through the program lifecycle
• Define and communicate a clear product vision; maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with business goals and market needs.
• Write, refine, and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical tasks; ensure backlog items are ready for sprint planning.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Systems Integration and Engineering process knowledge and experiences
• Technical experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools
• Experience as a Technical Lead, Scrum Product Owner or similar.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Desired skills
• Full lifecycle systems integration and engineering experience on Space programs
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
• Customer intimacy and proactive inter-personal skills across all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to drive consensus on best ideas, processes, and products
• Exposure to RF or digital communications engineering
• Experience designing, testing or verifying communications Payloads or Payload units
• Experience or understanding of terminals and system interfaces to terminals
• Experience or understanding of operational ground system command and control
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to an audience with varied technical backgrounds
• Experience with customer facing reviews: SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work in self-directed manner, work independently, and leverage best
• Experience with CAMEO or MBSE

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
