Description: Resource will be joining a fast-paced, integrated (Customers and Contractors) Team that is leading "Storage" efforts in support of ITD. This resource should have an extensive background or familiarity in LUNs provisioning, ONTAP Cluster Administration, Cloud Storage services, backup solutions and data retention with both Windows and Linux environment "knowledge in-depth."
Position Qualifications: - Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- CWIP/C2Q Level II required within 90 days of start date.
Required Skills: - Fluency in LUN provisioning, multipathing, and NAS file sharing (NFS, CIFS/SMB)
- Experience with technologies from major vendors such as NetApp (ONTAP), Dell EMC (PowerMax/Unity/Isilon), Pure Storage, or Hitachi.
- Familiarity with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and cloud storage services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas) and data retention strategies.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
Desired Skills: - Strong "Storage" background with ONTAP Cluster Administration.
Required Certification: Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required.
