Full Job Description
Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for a System Administrators III to support our contract at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) GSP TO7 in ATAMMC, Fort Belvoir, VA.

Location: 9300 DeWitt Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060

Position Overview:
  • The System Administrator - Level III performs advanced system administration duties including infrastructure maintenance, security upgrades, and independent resolution of complex tasks in support of ATAMMC operations.

Job Duties:
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance and security upgrades.
  • Assist architecture and engineering teams with evaluating, recommending, and testing infrastructure hardware and software products.
  • Handle complex tasks independently.
  • Provide system administration and technical support for GOTS and COTS hardware, software, and applications.
  • Manage all operational tasks, including backup/recovery, performance tuning, software/firmware upgrades, and maintenance of policies and procedures.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and optimize server operating systems (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, and VMware).
  • Sustain Microsoft Active Directory, including object creation and maintenance.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify, document, and resolve problems as directed.
  • Administer data center programs, including site assessments, preventive maintenance, emergency and corrective services, and relocation/consolidation services.
  • Apply, document, and gain approval for application Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Participate in On-Call/Call-Back rotation for Engineering Services.

Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ Years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency in system administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience deploying and sustaining enterprise server operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and VMware.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with backup/recovery operations, performance monitoring, and capacity analysis.
  • Experience with DISA STIG compliance in DoD IT environments.
  • Experience with data center operations including preventive maintenance and site assessments.

Required to Start:
  • Certification Requirements: a Current IAT II Certification is required to Start.
  • Clearance Requirements: a Current/Active DOD Secret Clearance is required to Start
