System Administrator to support daily operations and customer requirements.
Requirements include, but are not limited to: - Accepting and refining requirements, design , develop, acquire, document, and deploy engineering solutions to maximize SIGINT production across all-high speed global access.
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Additional five (5) years of Systems Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required or willingness & ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start.
- Experience with:
- Linux
- Containers/Cloud environments
- Storage Management
- Virtualization
- Ip networking and Firewall exp.
- ALL LINUX
- Solid understanding of PKI/TLS/crypto including crypto policies
- Experience with automation tools is a bonus
- Application support and general troubleshooting
- SSP compliance and STE/STN support on Linux systems
- Containers/Cloud environments
Security Clearance: - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
