The C2BMC Next Program, based in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team supporting the Command and Control for Ballistic Missile Defense. The selected candidate will be part of a team that performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC-G systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. This role plays a critical part in enabling Space Domain Awareness and Space Defense.
What You Will Do:
Perform daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC-G systems in a 24x7 environment.
Provide first-level technical support to the customer and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC-G hardware, software, and networks.
Document and report all events/issues to leadership.
Receive tasking and direction from leadership for all operational, test, and real-world events.
Assist in the maintenance of user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
Operate and sustain the C2BMC-G mission systems and/or training systems environment for operational and training missions supported by C2BMC's presence in the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC).
Support users in an enterprise-level system.
Install and troubleshoot Windows and Linux applications.
Perform first-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Document and report events and issues to leadership.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure smooth operations during tests and real-world events.
What You Will Learn:
Advanced use and management of enterprise-level systems.
Hands-on experience with maintaining user accounts and supporting operational and training missions.
In-depth knowledge of mission-critical systems used for Space Domain Awareness and Space Defense.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Sound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computers, communication systems, and networking environments.
Proven experience in system and/or network administration, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software components.
Experience in data flow usage and the ability to troubleshoot with internal and external agencies to establish network connectivity.
Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
