Full Job Description
Security Clearance:

SECRET position. Personnel must possess a final DoD granted SECRET security clearance.

Require:

You must be a U.S.Citizen

Minimum B.Sc., Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.

5 Years of experience in related field

Experience:
  • Shall perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
  • Shall provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Shall manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Shall provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Shall provide Tier I (Help Desk) and II (advanced troubleshooting) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem.
  • Shall provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Shall provide support for the tracking system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
  • Shall configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Shall installs/loads operating system and application of software.
  • Shall isolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
  • Shall troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Shall integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
  • Shall manage all virtual machine required by the division using software similar to VMPlayer V6.
  • Shall manage the licenses and renewals for the 3rd party software required by the division (i.e. JIRA, VxWorks, Crucible/Fisheye, Klocwork, Red Hat, etc).
