Job Location: Jersey City, New Jersey



Position Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, integration, and commissioning of Amazon Robotics equipment in new and existing fulfillment centers (FCs). Work with mechanical and electrical systems, configure networking, and coordinate software system installation in deploying robotic equipment. Provide technical oversight on the installation of third-party and Amazon-designed robotics equipment. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including third-party installers, contracted engineers, construction, hardware, software, IT, and other partner teams. Deploy robotic systems in various phases of the product life cycle. Lead the development of process documentation and modify existing processes as needed.

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a master's degree and three years of experience. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems; (2) experience working with technical drawings or CAD models to resolve on-site clash issues using 3D clash detection reports. Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s): (3) working in a field setting in a construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (4) experience troubleshooting robotics systems or other complex mechanical-electrical or networked systems to resolve escalations including quality hand-off, live order testing, site acceptance testing, operational readiness testing, and monitoring system performance; and (5) experience with business intelligence and data visualization and reporting tools (Amazon Quick, ServiceNow, or related). Up to 75% domestic travel may be required.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $163,488/year to $185,000/year.
