Job Title: Sys Analyst/Programmer-Senior (JIRA)

Department: Interface Team

Location: Riedman Campus, Hybrid (Onsite & Remote)

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Day/Shift, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm EST. Mild on-call requirements to ensure system continuity. Not a regular obligation

We are seeking a JIRA Administrator with a passion for configuring JIRA to improve collaboration, optimize workflows, and manage our growing portfolio of projects across our Health System. The ideal candidate will be able to apply knowledge of different project management processes and design JIRA workflows with an agile mindset.

The successful candidate will support the implementation of JIRA and other applications within the Atlassian Marketplace.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Build, configure and administer Data Center based JIRA product from Atlassian
  • Configure, JIRA for new requirements and enhancements as well as perform JIRA administration work such as user and group configurations
  • Primary responsibility is working with internal teams and other cross functional teams to configure projects
  • Collaborate with leadership and infrastructure teams in developing scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions using JIRA including Clustering and other optimizations
  • Create tailored configurations, workflows, automations, reports, and integrations that meet specific user requirements
  • Configure, administer, and enhance JIRA for Resource Capacity Reporting and User Time Reporting as well as other reporting needs
  • Implement JIRA automations using JIRA Automation and/or scriptrunner
  • Design and Lead/Assist in the integration of other Atlassian Applications such as Confluence and Crowd/AD integrations
  • Manage implementation issues, escalations and determine action items required
  • Exercise good design and judgement in implementing best practices to avoid anti-patterns and feature bloat


Preferred Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience administering, supporting, and customizing JIRA to meet the needs of diverse groups of customers and/or developers.
  • Experience with administering and developing software team solutions on Atlassian tools especially JIRA and Confluence
  • Proficient in ScriptRunner/Groovy/JQL
  • Experience using JIRA REST APIs
  • Advanced understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Experience setting and managing user permissions.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of previous computer experience, which should include programming experience.
  • Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

PAY RANGE:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
