Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a store operations strategy that enhances the customer experience and supports the anticipated rapid growth of the organization.
  • Collaborate with key corporate functions to identify, strategize, and implement transformative improvements in store operational processes. Leverage cross-functional partnerships to enhance efficiency, streamline omnichannel integration, prioritize the most important priorities, and elevate the customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the management of operational processes and practices to ensure that store operations programs and standard operating procedures (SOP) are aligned with company values and goals.
  • Create efficiencies and increased sales opportunities across an omnichannel business model with integrated brick and mortar and ecommerce.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend strategies and tactics for current and future store operations.
  • Develop and execute strategic merchandise flow processes that optimize labor efficiency, enhance operational effectiveness, and reinforce a customer-centric service culture.
  • Provide inspirational leadership and motivation to the team and ensure the continued development and management reflective of a purpose driven organization that drives a positive crew experience.
  • Drive a high-level of active engagement with both the Field Retail and Store Operations team as well as the support functions across the enterprise. Collaborate and influence relationships across departmental lines and the field to maximize sales.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and performance analytics to evaluate store productivity and profitability. Develop and implement strategic reporting frameworks that identify growth opportunities, optimize operational efficiency, and drive informed business decisions.
  • Partner with Store Finance and Field Management to identify, understand, and proactively schedule various selling & non-selling activities.
  • Ultimate oversight and management of Store Payroll Model, Store Sales Planning Process, supplies and other expense management and store business analytics.
  • Optimize and enhance the effectiveness of Sales Forecasting and Labor Scheduling systems by implementing data-driven strategies that improve accuracy, efficiency, and workforce productivity. Leverage predictive analytics and industry best practices to align staffing with business demand, maximizing sales opportunities and operational agility.
  • Operate with strong business acumen and hold accountability for overall profitability for all stores.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for field operations in cross functional meetings.

Qualifications/Experience:

  •  20+ years management experience in multi-unit store operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, understand complex business challenges and formulate effective solutions.
  • Experience in environments where growth has required continual change and reformulation of the operating side of the business.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong execution skills. Strong financial acumen.
  • A track record of building and motivating strong, cohesive teams. Must be a communicative leader with an inclusive leadership style.

  • Has successfully led a store organization through rapid growth.
