Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall operations of the assigned division, as well as management, planning, and development responsibilities. Collaborates closely with the executive team to ensure successful achievement of all the organization's operational goals and strategic plans.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Authority over the strategic goals, plans, and standards for the division and ensures they are consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Provides visionary leadership for all division operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Oversees division's leadership with staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, corrective actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Monitors and evaluates division's department budgets and ensures that all entities operate in compliance with allocated funding.
Ensures internal and external audits are conducted by division's leaders.
Develops new business opportunities in the communities served in collaboration with the system executive team and the Board.
Establishes strategic plans for fiscal and operational outcomes.
Builds relationships and communicates effectively with all levels of employees as well as the Board and community leaders.

Team Building and Development – Builds and fosters a positive team culture, identifying individual strengths and providing opportunities for growth. Develops system plans, to address department and organizational priorities.
Resource Management – Effectively allocates resources, manages budgets, and optimizes team productivity across the system.
Decision Making - Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
Communication – Clearly communicates goals, expectations, and updates the team using active listening and promoting open communication channels.
Conflict Resolution - Identifies and addresses conflicts within the team, facilitating constructive dialogue, and finding solutions to disagreements.
Change Management – Involved in implementing organizational change initiatives. Able to effectively manage resistance, communicating change effectively, and foster a culture of adaptability within their teams.
Leadership Development – Actively engages in the Leadership Development Program by enrolling in the program within the first 6 months of employment and completing the program within the first 2 years of employment.
Workforce Safety Statement - Prioritizes the physical and psychological safety of the workforce as a foundational element of high-reliability care. Ensure goals are established with effective monitoring and reporting to improve workforce safety and wellbeing. Position Requirements:
Work Experience
A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience as determined by the organization
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required upon hire.
Additional Education Information
A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
