DescriptionPercheron Survey is seeking a Professional Land Survey Project Manager for our Corporate Office in Katy Texas, that will plan and execute all aspects of projects, including managing office and field staff assigned to the project. Additionally, you may be involved in business development and sales in all areas of company services and coordination with senior management for company operations.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities - Plan, organize, execute, and supervise general project surveying services
- Develop and maintain positive client and internal company relationships
- Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a project team.
- Participate in estimating and formal proposal composition on survey projects for multiple service lines.
- Establish work plan and staffing needs for multiple large- and small-scale projects.
- Coordinate with Directors to set up new projects and determine proposed scope and timeframe.
- Review company reports to monitor and measure productivity and maintain project schedules.
- Supervise, direct, or conduct office analysis to establish tract or parcel boundaries.
- Occasionally represent company at professional events and organizations.
- Assist in establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base in our market areas.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements - 5+ years of professional land surveying and management experience
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Ability to supervise and manage technical staff members
- Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Ensure deliverables meet quality control standards.
- Qualified for or licensed in Arkansas is a plus.
- sUAS and/or Laser Scanning Experience is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
- Ability to pay close attention to details and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
- Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Work Environments and Physical Demands - Spends 100% of the time in an office environment.
- Required to sit, use hands to finger handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
