Full Job Description
In this exciting leadership role, the Director of the Stein Eye Institute Surgery Center is expected to be self-directed, exercising sound judgment while applying established standards, policies, and procedures. Reporting to the Executive Director of Perioperative Services, the Director is responsible for the clinical, operational, financial, human resources, materials management, and communication functions of the Stein Eye Institute Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center specializing in ophthalmic and related surgical care. The Director provides oversight for all areas of the Stein ASC, including operating rooms, procedure rooms, pre- and post-treatment units, sterile processing, administrative support services, and implant coordination. This position carries 24-hour accountability for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of perioperative patient care. The Director ensures continuous readiness for regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements while partnering with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and institutional leaders to advance patient safety, quality outcomes, patient access, operational excellence, and fiscal performance. Salary Range: $162,200-$392,000
