Full Job Description
Primary Purpose

Perform activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining HR applications and processes. Provide HR teams and business personnel with technology solutions by weighing advantages of technology standards, market availability of products, risks and benefits of technology to meet business/HR needs. The role will be centered on the development and improvement of new and existing features. The role encompasses design, implementation, and testing to ensure building products right and release them with high quality.

Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

This role is open to our corporate offices in Chicago, IL - Philadelphia, PA - Newark, DE - Baltimore, MD or Washington DC. No relocation is available.

You must be able to commute within our service area to be considered.

Primary Duties

  • Analyze, design, develop or modify HR Applications to meet business requirements (55%)
  • Engage with business and IT partners to ensure business needs are satisfied with practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. Document requirements, design and perform validation for existing and newly created functionality (20%)
  • Actively engage with IT partners and HR team on progress, status and issues pertaining to HR Solutions (10%)
  • Support Operational processing and resolve Production support issues (10%)
  • Support deployment and hyper-care activities (5%)

Job Scope

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of technology and its application across our business areas or for our customers.
  • Applies technical expertise to plan, design, build or support required products and processes.
  • Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (ex: Computer Science or related discipline) and 2 - 5 years of relevant experience (HR Technologies implementation, architecture, support, programming technologies, etc.) or minimum 6 - 9 years of relevant combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrates strong software development, configuration and/or maintenance capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of HR technologies best practices and trends in domains of talent management, payroll, time and labor, performance management, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in cloud-based HR Technologies.
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages, e.g. Java, SQL , JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • May require help to troubleshoot complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of what makes good software design, a deeper understanding of programming languages, and an ability to solve engineering problems of increasing difficulty.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development, including but not limited to: creating basic to complex workflows, building catalog items based on business requirements, scripting, lifecycle events, etc.
  • Shows initiative beyond pure implementation.
  • Experience building highly scalable applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL, JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience in UI/UX development.
  • ATS (iCIMS) experience highly preferred.

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $72,800.00/Yr. - $100,100.00/Yr.
