Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a Supply Supervisor to lead day to day supply operations that support maintenance, production, engineering, and logistics activities within a Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program for the US Army. This role oversees tool control, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, requisition management, material accountability, and supply documentation. The Supply Supervisor ensures all supply processes meet program requirements, safety standards, and task order specific needs. This position is ideal for a hands on leader with strong organizational skills and experience in managing supply personnel and operations in a fast paced Defense environment.
This position is located in our Huntsville, AL office with work performed at client site in Aberdeen, MD.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Supply Operations & Supervision
. Supervise daily supply activities including issuing tools, equipment, and materials
. Oversee maintenance of supply inventories, stock levels, and storage areas
. Ensure supply operations comply with program requirements and task order specifics
. Manage supply personnel, assign tasks, and evaluate performance
Inventory Management & Accountability
. Ensure accurate tracking, control, and accountability of tools, recoverable items, and consumables
. Oversee turn in, disposal, and documentation of unserviceable or excess equipment
. Maintain inventory records, supply logs, and audit ready documentation
Shipping, Receiving & Requisitioning
. Supervise inbound and outbound shipments of parts, materials, and equipment
. Ensure supplies are properly documented, labeled, received, stored, and distributed
. Process requisitions, validate requests, and track order status to completion
Tool Room & Equipment Oversight
. Ensure tool rooms are properly stocked, organized, and maintained
. Oversee inspection of tools and equipment for serviceability
. Ensure returned items are clean, functional, and properly documented
Recordkeeping & Documentation
. Maintain accurate supply records, part histories, and transaction logs
. Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks
. Ensure all documentation meets program, regulatory, and safety standards
Coordination & Customer Support
. Coordinate with maintenance, production, logistics, and engineering teams on material needs
. Provide timely responses to supply requests and ensure customer service excellence
. Support issue resolution related to stock shortages, delayed shipments, or equipment status
Safety & Compliance
. Maintain cleanliness and safety of supply areas
. Enforce compliance with safety regulations, storage protocols, and handling procedures
. Support development and improvement of supply procedures and SOPs
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Education
. AA/AS degree from an accredited college or 2 year technical school in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
. Substitution options:
- One year of applicable experience may substitute for one year of post secondary education
- One academic year in an accredited logistics or supply chain management program may substitute for one year of experience
Experience
. 4+ years of experience in supply or warehouse operations
. At least 1 year of experience at the supervisory or team lead level
. Experience managing inventory, requisitions, and supply documentation
Technical Skills
. Knowledge of supply chain processes, stock control, and material accountability
. Ability to manage shipping, receiving, requisitioning, and tool control
. Familiarity with supply records, documentation standards, and audit requirements
Abilities & Work Style

. Ability to work in a fast paced operational environment

Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Advanced Supply Experience
. Experience in a Defense supply, maintenance, or logistics environment
. Familiarity with tool calibration tracking, hazardous materials handling, or secure storage requirements
Tools & Systems Knowledge
. Experience with inventory management systems or ERP tools
. Familiarity with barcode scanners, electronic logs, or digital documentation tools
Certifications
. Forklift or material handling certifications
. OSHA 10/30 or safety certifications
. Industry supply/logistics credentials (APICS, SOLE, etc.)
Additional Skills
. Ability to identify supply process improvements
. Experience training junior supply technicians
. Strong capability to support audits, inventory counts, and periodic inspections

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 $110,100.00.
