Job Title: Supply/Civil Engineering Material Control Specialist Lead Contract: SSPARS Location: Beale AFB, CA MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma - Completion of Air Force supply courses/training desirable - Five years' experience within the Air Force supply system BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: The Supply/Civil Engineering Material Control Specialist Lead assists the Communications Electronics Manager in running the work center. Ensure all site supply support functions are completed. Coordinate material control functions with the Mission Support Base Supply (MSBS) at Peterson AFB and establish procedures for afterhours support for Non-Mission Capable Supply/Partial Mission Capable Supply. Manages controls, acquires, issues, and safeguards all government-furnished supplies and equipment. Controls Standard Base Supply System assets including supply point, bench stock, and equipment details. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor Mission Capability requirements - Ensures supply point asset levels meet all requirements - Manages, controls, and processes, as required, all inventory assets and is the single point-of-contact for cost control - Interface with the host base supply activity to ensure that all supply requirements receive the project priority and supply assistance required - Ensures all hazardous material requirements are met and meets all compliance standards of the Environmental Management Plan - Follows all local purchase procedures - Maintains records, logs, and files - Performs other duties as required SUPERVISION: Responsible for Work of Others: - Ensures all work center personnel are performing their tasks as assigned. Is the primary interface between Communication Electronics Manager and work center Supervision Received - Works under the general supervision of the Communication Electronics Manager. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Physical Tasks: - Exerts physical energy. May have to handle heavy loads on occasion. Working Conditions - Office and industrial environment. May work extended hours or weekends. SECURITY CLEARANCE: - Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase. - Employment and start date are contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance Pay Range Starting from USD $42.90/Hr.
