Job Description:Job DefinitionCaterpillar Defense is seeking a
Supply Chain Planning Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for machine order receipt, scheduling, order processing, and order execution management for Caterpillar Defense products. You will also work collaboratively with team members and internal stakeholders to evaluate and improve order management processes to increase throughput and efficiency.
What You Will Do:- This role will act as a dealer liaison between the Caterpillar Defense order execution team and the various dealers we interface with. The intent will be to actively collaborate with our dealers regarding needs from the business to execute for our customers.
- Transmit orders to Caterpillar production facilities and support order grief resolution when required.
- Manage dealer correspondence; generate statements of work and submit contract flow downs to dealers to enable timely delivery of machines, work tools, and attachments.
- Lead recurring meetings to review the status of active delivery orders; document current status in Caterpillar Defense systems of record; ensure delivery of machines, work tools, and attachments are completed on schedule and contractual requirements are met.
- Cross train within our various order execution job functions in support of daily process improvements.
What You Will Have:Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintain focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
What Sets You Apart:- Experience in SAP is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working directly with Cat Dealers or production facilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

Summary Pay Range:$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
