Job Description:

Role Definition

The Supply Chain Planning Engineer (Warehouse Lead) is responsible for facility supply chain performance levels and corporate targets for inventory reduction, increasing inventory turns, and improving order-to-delivery results. This position leads facility efforts to run multiple projects to develop and implement the plan for every part, pull material replenishment, warehousing, autonomy, and improved throughput efficiency.

  • Strategic Buffer Planning
  • Deliver on key critical OPACC Improvement Initiatives including automated material handling and Warehouse optimization
  • Identifying, defining, and implementing integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
  • Establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
  • Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
  • Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.

Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
  • Supplier Management - MFG: Level Working Knowledge

Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
  • Supply Chain Management - MFG: Level Working Knowledge

Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

Top candidates will also have
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or manufacturing engineering
  • APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification desired
  • Experience with AGVs and other automated solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerBi, Project Management

  • This position will be located onsite 5 days a week in East Peoria, IL (Building KK).

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
