Responsibilities

Now hiring! Supply Chain Planner (PMU)

Houston,TX -Hybrid

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner (PMU) to join our Performance Materials team in Houston.

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join the BASF Houston Polyurethane System House team as a Finished Goods Planner. In this role you will be responsible for managing finished goods production scheduling and supporting key supply chain processes within SAP. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, production capabilities, and inventory health, while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Customer Service, and Shipping. This role will also support various site projects and serve as the backup for the Raw Material Planner.

As a member of the Houston Supply Chain team, your success will be driven through strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across various departments, your proven problem-solving capabilities and adaptability under pressure. And finally, your excellent analytical skills with proficiency in SAP.

As a Supply Chain Planner (PMU), you create chemistry by...

  • Develop production plans to both meet customer demand while optimizing plant capacity and inventory levels.
  • Execute finished goods production scheduling in SAP across multiple fulfillment models - Made to Stock/Made to Order:
  • Review and manage new and changed customer orders within SAP.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment activities with 3rd party logistics support, inhouse shipping, and customer service team.
  • Drive dysfunctional or non-conforming finished good inventory disposition. Collaborate with operations and technical to ensure efficient reprocessing and minimal waste.
  • Support automation within site production processes.
  • Maintain and update plant master data in SAP to support accurate planning and execution.
