L.L.Bean is seeking an OCM Lead to join our Supply Chain team in Freeport, Maine. This role requires in-office presence four days a week and will split time between our Corporate Headquarters and our Order Fulfillment Center - both located in Freeport.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning and execution of change management strategies for key Fulfillment & Supply Chain initiatives, ensuring employees are prepared, supported, and equipped to adopt new ways of working.
- Partner with business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to assess change impacts, identify risks, and develop plans that promote organizational readiness and successful adoption.
- Create and implement communication, training, and engagement strategies that build awareness, increase understanding, and encourage sustained behavior change.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, gather feedback, and help address barriers to adoption throughout the change journey.
- Apply established change management methodologies and tools to support project teams in delivering successful transformation outcomes.
- Track adoption and readiness metrics, monitor progress, and recommend adjustments to improve change effectiveness and business results.
- Support leaders and teams through periods of change by providing guidance, coaching, and practical solutions that minimize disruption and enhance employee experience.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure change activities are aligned, integrated, and effectively executed across the organization.
Responsibilities:- Use established frameworks and tools (e.g., stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, communication planning) to drive consistent, scalable change practices across initiatives.
- Define and deliver an integrated change strategy aligned to business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach across process, technology, and organizational initiatives.
- Lead impact assessments to understand how work, roles, and processes will change; identify risks, and implement targeted readiness actions to prepare teams for adoption.
- Develop clear, actionable change management, communication and editorial plans for high profile, large-scale efforts that engage cross-functional stakeholders at all levels while enabling leaders to effectively champion change.
- Coordinate the execution of change management, communication and editorial plans, working with partners to ensure regular and seamless communication is in place with little oversight.
- Draft, edit and deliver clear, compelling messaging tailored to multiple formats and audiences.
- Design and deliver practical training and capability-building initiatives that equip teams to perform in future-state ways of working and close skill gaps.
- Establish success metrics, track adoption and progress, and continuously refine strategies to ensure changes are sustained and deliver intended business results.
- Collaborate with program leaders, business teams, HR partners, and change champions to build alignment, reinforce ownership, and embed change into day-to-day operations.
- Analyze structures, processes, and ways of working to identify improvement opportunities and ensure changes increase efficiency, clarity, and overall effectiveness.
- Act as liaison with internal and external consultants, as appropriate, ensuring adequate information is readily available and coordinating activities in line with the project plan.
- Develop and lead hypercare plans that extend beyond change efforts, providing targeted support, issue resolution, and reinforcement to stabilize adoption and ensure a smooth transition into new ways of working.
- Establish and execute sustainment plans that embed changes into standard operations, reinforce behaviors over time, and ensure long-term adoption and business value realization.
- May assume people management responsibilities and provides coaching and mentoring to subordinate group.
- Assume additional related responsibilities as requested.

Skills and Qualifications:- BA/BS required
- 5+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience leading or supporting change initiatives that impact processes, tools, or organizational structures and drive adoption
- Strong working knowledge of change management approaches, including stakeholder engagement, readiness, communication, and training
- Ability to assess how changes impact roles, processes, and ways of working, and translate that into clear, actionable plans
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence audiences at all levels and help leaders effectively communicate change
- Strong written and verbal editorial skills, with the ability to both draft and edit customized messaging tailored to multiple audiences and delivered in multiple formats
- Ability to define success measures, track adoption, and use data to adjust and improve outcomes
- Proven ability to work across teams and build alignment with business leaders and project partners
- Solid understanding of how business processes and organizational dynamics work, with a focus on improving effectiveness
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities
- Strong computer skills including fluency with Microsoft Office suite (Co-Pilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Comprehensive functional, process and/or technical skills related to project area; subject matter expert
