Job DescriptionAs the primary on-site technical authority for our new Salt Lake City facility, the Linux System and Security Analyst will serve as the critical strategic bridge aligning local operations with Central IT standards.. The position will analyze, troubleshoot, automate and conduct network and system support while exercising full ownership and decision-making authority over the resolution of end-user technical challenges, including hardware failures and software anomalies. The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time in its discretion.
• Serve as the site's primary IT first responder, owning the diagnostic process for complex infrastructure issues and exercising full autonomy to implement system-level fixes or trigger escalations to ensure uninterrupted Production continuity.
• Provide Ubuntu Linux and Windows system desktop and server support as well as network administration for the entire company based on the NIST CyberSecurity Framework.
• Be responsible for Automate deployment and monitoring of computer systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, Windows and Linux-based Servers and Virtual Machines.
• Manage and Troubleshoot Network Switches (Aruba, Cisco) and pfSense Firewalls, including VPN, DNS and DHCP services.
• Support vulnerability and patch management processes, ensuring all Linux vulnerabilities are remediated in accordance with NIST CyberSecurity Framework.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the company's IT infrastructure and support processes.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all hardware and software assets.
• Be responsible for evaluating risks, designing secure systems in compliance with Cybersecurity
Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) standards, and making strategic recommendations.
• Linux, Networking and other IT Support may occasionally require on-call coverage overnight, on weekends, and holidays.
• As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience with installing, troubleshooting, and/or maintaining Linux-based software and hardware installations.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment is a plus.
• Skills Required: Fluency in Ubuntu Linux CLI, TCP/IP, LAN/VLAN Networking, Firewall Rules, Patch Management, and Backup.
• Highly proficient in Google Suite (GDocs, GSheet, GSlides, GChat, GDrive)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a team member, supporting departmental decisions, policies, and procedures with a positive and communicative attitude with company colleagues.
Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $145,000 USD

Basic Requirements• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field.
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of Mid Level Linux-related and Networking experience.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Ability to work 100% on-site.
• Ability to travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.
