About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The SCM will be responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers. This includes procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, all while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary supply chain liaison between the Buyers and Factory Stakeholders
  • Daily engagement with project management, planning, and buying teams
  • Manage material priorities for competing projects
  • Lead, train, and mentor the supply chain team
  • Sourcing Strategy for new material requirements
  • Purchase materials and supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock
  • Update and maintain purchasing records and data
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers
  • Hold quarterly business reviews with suppliers at their location
  • Analyze market trends and purchase data for risk and opportunities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to mitigate supply risks
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure pricing agreements and better terms
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or engineering
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure maintaining a customer-focused mindset
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Must be able to travel domestically and abroad

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience or knowledge in switch gear or other power distribution equipment a plus
  • Experience with industrial breakers
  • Experience with copper commodity management
  • Experience with sheet metal commodity management
  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic
  • Project management experience

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
