Full Job Description
The Supply Planning Manager, North America will be responsible for production scheduling and supply chain activities across a specific region including the associated manufacturing locations and import hubs. Through working with cross functional teams, this role will align demand with supply plans, drive manufacturing execution, and manage distribution of the resulting inventory while minimizing supply chain risks to avoid any potential for supply disruption. The role will track and report progress against Regional Inventory Targets as directed by the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Americas.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining compliance to all plant SC regulatory and safety requirements.
• Management of regional inventory levels to meet business targets and achieve expected customer product availability.
• Implement production plans all within cost, manufacturing constraints/options, continuity of supply, market requirements and in accordance with regional/global balances.
• Coordination of supply in order to maximize production economics.
• Obtain defined reduction in inventory while maintaining customer service levels.
• Develop regional monomer and raw materials plans and communicate procurement needs to support production.
• Challenge the existing logistics and supply planning processes in order to implement continuous improvements and deliver tangible benefits.
• Apply appropriate software tools (e.g. Picaso, SAP) to assure the best possible level of flexibility around plant scheduling and product importing.
• Act as key contact internally and externally and be an expert for supply processes within the region and globally.
• Work with commercial team to validate sales forecasts and prioritize shipments when appropriate.
• Implement and support product or order allocations plans as necessary to manage shortage situations.
• Participation in Global & Regional cross-functional projects to represent Supply Planning.
• This position will require product specific knowledge for all products within the sub-product line for which he/she is responsible.
• Provide back-up support to the Regional Supply Chain Planner(s) during absence, as needed.

Education, Certifications & Licenses
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics preferred; specific field may be substituted with equivalent experience.
• APICS, CTL or Six Sigma certification a plus.
• HS Graduate or GED required.
