Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for driving improvements in customer on-time-delivery, working capital through inventory reduction and cost reduction with sourcing savings. Will organize and implement strategic initiatives and standardized approaches in Order Management, Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management and Logistics. Lead a supply chain team that supports the Order to Cash framework.
  • Develop and maintain safe work practices.
  • Ensure the Supply Chain is synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation.
  • Work closely with leadership team to achieve operational objectives in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Develops and maintains scorecards of key suppliers in quality, delivery and cost and reviews performance with them quarterly.
  • Develop subordinates to optimize their skills and performances in a team environment.
  • Set team goals and motivate subordinates to meet or exceed these expectations.
  • Conduct Daily Improvement meetings reviewing S,Q,D,C,G.
  • Ensure plant and Corporate Policies are consistently administered.
  • Defines resource needs and works within budget and staffing parameters to accomplish objectives for areas of responsibilities.
  • Responsible for helping to define long term production capacity, continuous improvement projects and strategic planning.

Education and/or Experience
  • BS in Supply Chain/Sourcing or engineering with 8 years operations experience.
  • APICs certification.
  • Demonstrated experience developing Order to Cash process in a lean manufacturing setting.
  • Good interactive people skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, management and/or individuals.
  • Team player who supports both management and team members.
  • Ability to appraise a situation through data analysis and facilitate team members accordingly.
  • Well-developed inter-personal skills to help focus and motivate employees in a positive and constructive fashion.
