Supply Chain Manager (Full-Time, Fractional, or Contract)
The Opportunity
You'll own the end-to-end supply chain strategy for our hardware products, ensuring we have the right inventory, the right suppliers, and the right logistics in place to support production and customer deliveries.
This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and external suppliers to balance demand, reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and strengthen our supply chain as we continue to grow.
You'll also provide leadership to our purchasing function while helping establish scalable processes and systems for the future.
Your Impact as a Supply Chain Manager
Supply Planning & Procurement
- Develop demand forecasts and purchasing plans in partnership with Sales, Operations and Engineering
- Create and maintain rolling inventory plans to support production while optimizing inventory levels.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times, quality, and commercial agreements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while improving quality and delivery performance.
- Source and qualify new suppliers and establish alternate sourcing strategies to reduce risk.
- Support purchasing activities and ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
- Act as the primary escalation point for supplier performance, shortages, and delivery issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply planning.
Logistics & Inventory
- Manage domestic and international logistics, freight providers, customs brokers, and transportation partners.
- Develop scalable logistics processes that improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory health, replenishment, and warehouse performance.
- Support ongoing optimization and utilization of our ERP system and inventory management processes.
- Communicate supply chain performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Leadership
- Build scalable supply chain processes that support future organizational growth.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing procurement, planning, logistics, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing or hardware environment.
- Demonstrated success managing global suppliers and international supply chains.
- Strong experience negotiating supplier agreements and commercial terms.
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and procurement.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Experience improving supply chain processes through data and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Experience in clean technology, energy storage, renewable energy, EV charging, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Experience working in a scaling startup or high-growth manufacturing company.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification.
- Experience implementing or optimizing ERP systems.
- International sourcing experience across North America and Asia.
Where You Will Be Located:
- Vancouver, BC, with the ability to attend meetings in the office
Salary Range and Perks
- Hourly Rate of $45 - 58 CAD per hour, depending on experience
